For 20 years or more, I regularly watched as many of the Sunday morning News programs as I was able. Peter Jennings, Cokie, all of them I put up with.

Yes, time waits for no one, and all things change. And not just the Sunday Left wing political talk shows, but what used to be conservative magazines, like Forbes, NR these too, have gone to the Dark Side.

Life goes on and we adjust and hopefully something new fill the void

From any president or his andministration’s perspective, it’s easier to fire or NOT promote an officer who is politically or strategically opposed than to find one who is a Quisling and appoint him/her.

Yes, no point in mincing words - Some / Many of these Generals/Admirals are Political Animals and worthless when it comes to actual combat

I think I know a thing or two about the demographics up here. Half the population lives within 50 miles of Portland, full of Massholes and other big city refugees, which is RAT to the bone. CD2 is the Second Maine.

The RAT CD1 controls the state, dominates the State House and essentially all of the executive branch bureaucRATs, lifers...janitors etc. It's been that way for over 50 years.

When I used to watch all the Sunday morning shows, I thought that the hosts acted like a defense attorney for Dems, asking them questions framed to let them give the most positive spin on something without any challenge at all. Then the host acted as a prosecutor with Republicans, asking tough questions and then challenging their answers often many times. Frequently they didn’t even give the Republican enough time to answer before the challenge.

Thanks for this thread as I cannot watch these shows any more.
