London (AFP) - Delivery rider Jabed Hussain was waiting at a traffic light one night in east London when two attackers sprayed acid in his face and stole his moped.
It was one of hundreds of attacks in the British capital every year that have prompted government intervention and left the city's police force asking the public for help to tackle the crime wave.
Hussain recalled feeling "burning on my face" during the robbery in Hackney.
"If they want to take my bike, there are a lot of weapons... why (have) they got to choose the weapon of acid?" he told AFP as he returned to the spot where the attack happened.
The number of assaults is increasing rapidly.
The British capital saw 454 acid attacks reported last year, up from 261 in 2015 and 166 the year before.
Hussain suffers from chest problems after swallowing water which he believes contained traces of the acid, although his helmet protected much of his face and he has no visible scars.
A pizza delivery driver attacked in north-east London last month was not so lucky, left in a critical condition after being sprayed with acid while his helmet visor was up.

Jaf Shah, head of the London-based Acid Survivors Trust International, said victims were "incredibly strong, resilient and courageous individuals".

It was an accident. They found the spray bottle containing acid lying around on a pier, and were playing with it when it “just went off”. GoFundMe to fly the perps to a San Fran courtroom where they can get a fair trial.
This is ONE TOUGH WOMAN. I guess Sandhurst will do that for a gal!! She’s a hell of a lot tougher than a vast (or is that HALF VAST?) alleged males in the West at the moment.
That said, she believes we CAN have a happy ending to the current mess, but it will require those of us who are still willing to resist the globalist oligarchs to HIKE ‘EM UP AND GET ON WITH IT ASAP!

Really interesting to look at the Comments section under this story at Yahoo. Was wondering if they’d actually publish any comment alluding to izlam....take a look! Virtually 100%! I’m really surprised they published these comments, and a somewhat comforted that there does not seem to be one single brainwashed lib who actually believes this crap. Maybe there’s some room for hope after all?
I care about Brit Citizens. I pray they stand up soon to save their families.
May is a big part of the problem. They don’t insist on assimilation and the Muslims aggressively pursue dominance socially as their religion demands. The numbers don’t reflect the magnitude if the problem. The Muslims in London are only 5% of the population with 50% being foreign born. They are self segregated into majority Muslim populations. The violent nature of Islam isn’t acknowledged by the government and they are allowed a free hand in their areas.
So what do you get — Pakistan in London. But don’t you dare say so or you’ll be charged or excluded from goin there.

In the very first sentence they give the name of one of the many victims, Jabed Hussain, obviously a Muslim. Then nowhere in the article do we see any names of the perps, which I’m willing to bet ate also mostly Muslims.
So they purposefully want to leave the impression that the victims are Muslims, while they leave you guessing as to the perps.
Not surprised at all.
Easy to solve the problem. They do not want to solve it.
My understanding is that burning people with acid is a thing in Pakistan/Afghanistan/Iran/Kurdistan/Turkey and also Africa and that immigrants from those places brought this quaint practice to Jolly Olde England.
Not to mention Pakistan as a source of this method. Cheap and horrendous method for honor killings. Just part and parcel of living in a swinging diverse city.
