Every incoming administration makes contact with the Russians…and the Chinese…and the Iraqis. It is expected, and there is no law forbidding it.
This charade with Flynn is timed by the Democrat justice system to take the headlines away from the Senate passing the President’s tax cut bill.
Flynn’s credibility is in question. Trump fired him for lying to Pence, now he pleads guilty to lying to the feds. Bottom line he’s a liar.
When was the contact, and what was it about? If it occurred just before or after the election, so what?
When is the traitor Mueller charged for being the ‘uranium bag man’ delivering samples of uranium to Russia?
The December date is probably very relevant because the official Electoral College vote that formally elected Donald Trump as the next president took place on December 19th.

Trump should threaten to pardon him then say “Can’t do it. He is a liar. However, he’s not lying about me telling him to contact the Russians. That’s true. But I did not tell him to offer them more uranium. I’d already won by then.”

So “make contact” means NO contact before election, means NO collussion.

I sure hope he did. He was the president-elect, and Flynn was picked to be in the administration and would have reason to talk to the Russians.

Anyway, he was supposed to be talking to the Russians, and everyone else. If Flynn goes down, and Hillary gets off, look for the Intel floodgates to open with leaked information that will bring everyone down.

The problem here is (apparently) Flynn is saying Trump told him to contact the Russians when Trump was still a candidate not President-elect.
I’d go with the “Flynn is a known liar” angle at this point. And indeed, once a suspect flips to be a state informant or witness his testimony must be corroborated at some point.
