Anytime they show up and ask for cooperation say sure, absolutely. Let me get my recorder. Now ask away: answer all questions, well, to the best of my recollection at this time without reviewing any documents or reflecting on my defective memory, I would say I have no recollection of that event.

2) a video recording to which you have access, being made of the proceedings.

I believe that it is still a crime to lie to the FBI in an interview even if one is not under oath.
How ironic it is that it’s a crime to lie to a corrupt government agency (FBI) that lies, covers up crimes(email scandal, uranium one) and colludes with certain foreign governments(Russia), certain political parties(Democratic) and certain politicians(Clintons, Lynch, etc.). Gives new meaning to pot calling the kettle black.

Never answer their questions.
If you answered any of their questions you should be put in jail for being dumb enough to answer their questions. In other words, never, ever answer a single question. Ever!
I honestly did not know that. I thought one was free to say anything they wanted, thanks to the first amendment, UNLESS they are under oath. Of course, the words you use can get you in trouble. e.g. filing a false police report.
Generally speaking, the FBI does not. This is because the FBI has a policy that there will not be any other recordings of the meeting. This is a legal tactic used by the FBI to insist that their version of the interview, and ONLY their version, based on the FBI agent’s notes, is entered as evidence. It can be and has been used as the supporting evidence for charges.
However, a smart lawyer will insist that the conversation be recorded - video preferred. If the FBI does not want that, then they don’t get to question you in person. They can then submit the questions in writing to your attorney who will then provide the most appropriate response.
The most corrupt system the DOJ...90 percent never go to trail..they find as many charges as they can make up and your lawyer says take a deal..if you go to trail and they have all these charges against you the jury thinks you guilty of something..would you take a year or if you go to trail you might get thirty years...Think Randy Weaver...it was all made up..he missed a court date..he never received it..

How ironic...you can’t lie to liars led by Coney, an Olympic class liar. The same people who brought us Ruby Ridge, Waco, Bundys,Lavoy Finicum, etc. A declared willingness to kill innocent people must be a requirement to be an FBI agent.
