Unless you are Hillary Clinton. In that case, they don't record the interview or take notes, to minimize the risk.

Correct. Never talk to a Federal agent without the express permission of your private attorney. And they won’t ever tell you to do that. Let them build a case if they think you have committed a crime but don’t give them ANYTHING. A wrong date or time or place or name will be considered a lie so if they can’t get you for the crime they will get you for the false testimony.

there was talk about his being charged for other crimes so I’m wondering what else they dropped to allow him to plead to the false testimony only? He was only a part of the administration for less than a month as I recall?
