He’s going to prison for shooting a cop. The cop taunted him with K-Y Jelly in court

A Florida police officer was taking his 14-year-old child to school in March 2016 when he spotted a reckless driver.

Though he wasn’t on duty, the undercover Jacksonville, Fla. officer tried to pull over Kevin Rojas, who was then 19, the Associated Press reports.

That’s when Rojas got out of his white Cadillac and started shooting at the officer, police said. The officer was sporting a ballistic vest that said “police” on it at the time, WLTV reports.

Rojas’ shots missed the officer’s son, AP reports, but ended up hitting the officer three times, according to police. The officer shot back, but Rojas fled the scene by stealing another vehicle, and then barricaded himself in a house. Other officers pursued him, and shot Rojas three times before he was apprehended.

Like many people can be. I've never found cops to be any more "twisted" than any other subset of people. The most effed up sense of humor I've observed is from a couple combat vets who are among the best men I've known.

I wouldn't get too wadded up over an carjcking, murderous thug getting a jibe on what's coming his way.

Slick move on the officer’s part.

Rojas attempted to murder a police officer. Who cares what happens to him in stir?

And by the way, this incident proves once again that there really is no such thing as an “off-duty cop”.

I don’t know what is wrong with cops these days. Surely they could have let him bleed out before declaring the scene safe enough for EMT’s.

Not only does the perp have the Peter Lorrie evil look and act going, but he has a twin brother out of the exact same mold:

"Twin of man accused of shooting detective also arrested" Excerpt:

"Michael Rojas chased three people leaving his home in Orange Park and fired two shots at a car, according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office. The shots missed -- one hitting a parked car nearby."

You are entitled to your opinion. I don’t give a sh8t about what you think. The “cop” wasn’t even on duty and had his kid with him, but Rambo like felt he had to control the situation. Then in court, he acted like a perverted frat brother. Get a clue, dude.

I happen to agree with you that rape in prison should not be tolerated or encouraged. But it does occur. That is reality, and the officer victim was not, in my view, out of line in letting this twerp know what awaits him...

Rape in prison is still rape. It should not be tolerated, let alone encouraged.

OK, but aren't these people in prison because they refuse to FOLLOW THE RULES ?

How would you put a stop to it ?

Murder is also still 'murder', but that doesn't seem to stop them from murdering each other in prison.

IF the cop had not attempted to pull this guy over, and the guy had run over your child while driving a stolen vehicle, what would you say ?

I want no misunderstandings as to how I view you and your opinion.

You seem to be as bad as the cop; possessing neither self-control nor emotional maturity, and taking your lack of those things as a sign of manliness.

Wonder what Rojas’ status here is - didn’t see it mentioned in the article.

Wasn’t a threat from the cop. He is not going to bu++f#@k the little perp. He has no power to do that.

He’s just explaining to the little a-hole (soon to be big) what the wages of sin are. And taking some humorous joy in it. AKA Schadenfreude.

"You are entitled to your opinion"

Here's my opinion: That little rat fk could have continued on and killed your family if the cop hadn't interceded. He deserves a metal not criticism from a nobody like you.

It’s not funny. It’s downright hilarious!!

The sooner the p.o.s. dies in prison the better the world will be. (Give him a week to make his peace with God and then send him on to his reward)
