Florida already has an influx of 1000 people a day from the north and northeast, mostly folk running from the high-tax, high-regulation states. Yes, some Puerto Rico people are coming, but are swamped by the influx from other states.

Trump will not win MN or CO next time around.

The only reason Trump came within 1.5% in MN because a significan amount of usual Democrat voters voted 3rd party. Trump only got 44% to Hillarys 45.5%. Hillary would have gotten well over 50% if she wasnt so corrupt.

Colorado is as gone as a former red state can get. It is deep blue and will never go red in the forseeable future. The influx of Hispanics, liberals fleeing high taxed blue states and dopers have made Colorado a Rocky Mountain California.

I understand your point on Minn but I believe by 2020 with what is happening with the muslims there they will be willing to turn out to save themselves.

I would think most would prefer NY. The State Govt. welfare payments are better than FLA. They will have their Unions up there too.

I’m not sure I’ll say Florida will flip to Dems in 2020. Orange County is Democratic already, and most of Puerto Ricans moved there. Oscala County got a few and Polk did too...but Hillsborough got a few...and I bet a they want to go home...its warmer there than in Florida... :-)

You’d be surprised at how many Puerto Ricans like and respect Trump. The Dems shouldn’t take this for granted.

Agreed. He did not ignore “FloridaRicans” in 2016 and will not in 2020. He needs to siphon off a certain percentage.

Dems will be shocked again when liberal media says “CNN is now projecting that when all votes are counted, Donald Trump will carry Florida with it’s 29 electoral votes.” Not that he will need them, because he will also very likely carry Wisconsin, Mich., and Pa. as well as Col. and Nev. (states he did not carry in 2016)

Just need the new SCOTUS to get voter ID straightened out. That will take care results in many states.
