President Trump dredged up a notorious old mystery with his latest bomb at NBC, citing the bizarre death 16 years ago of a young female staffer in the office of then-congressman and current “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough.
The story of Lori Klausutis has dogged Scarborough on the Internet since she was found dead in his Florida district office on July 19, 2001. Although Scarborough was out of town — and the medical examiner later ruled she had died after falling and hitting her head on a desk — conspiracy theorists have long speculated, with no reliable evidence, that Scarborough could have been somehow involved in Klausutis’ death. And now the president appears to be joining in.
“So now that Matt Lauer is gone when will the Fake News practitioners at NBC be terminating the contract of [MSNBC president] Phil Griffin? And will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the “unsolved mystery” that took place in Florida years ago? Investigate!” Trump tweeted.
... The local medical examiner eventually said that an “undiagnosed heart condition” contributed to her death that was ruled “an accident,” according to The Hotline, a now-defunct political newsletter.
“She was near unconsciousness as she was falling… because she did nothing to protect herself,” the medical examiner said. “[She] hit a desk with the side of her head.”

To be clear, I do not ever recall there ever being any evidence that the two were having an affair. Yet that does not mean that the death was properly investigated or that it is not a mystery.

I don’t think Trump is making any accusations here. However, to libs the accusation is more important than the facts so Joe must Go, based on the accusation.
Young female office help often times fall and “hit their heads” and die. Yeah, sure.
Maybe the desk fell off of the filing cabinet and hit her in the head.

Years ago I flew as a passenger in a hot air balloon alongside another balloon when the wind picked up. We landed near Davis CA, our basket flipped and we all held on with no injuries. The other balloon did the same and a young woman, who we just met in the van an hour, earlier perished. She was ejected on the flip and apparently did not attempt to break the impact with arms or shoulder. She bled out and died. The FAA ruled pilot error.
So there is some plausibility.

Quit 5 months into his 4th term to ‘spend more time with his family.’ That would be June. He quit in September when the kids were back in school. Collected a few paychecks-so much for family time.
