General Hayden, who is also a former director of the National Surveillance Agency (NSA),

National Surveillance Agency?

No ... that's not what it's called.

General officers never legally retire. They are placed on the retired list but are subject to recall to active duty at any time.

There must be an open billet for a high level officer of his caliber to monitor latrine usage at the bunkers along the Korean DMZ.

Did anyone get a look at his feet? Is he wearing his boot, yet?

So he is on CNN’s payroll. Isn’t this what is called singing for your supper?

Toeing the company line!

“He has no clue about life as a regular citizen in this great country. Another Pampered Prince.”

I agree. Personally, I think it would be much easier for someone from ‘real’ life outside of government to do his job, than it would be for him to make his way outside of government - without using his previous years in government as a link to a job ‘consulting’ or lobbying.

National Surveillance Agency?

No ... that's not what it's called.

It's the Independent and a nosy Brit broad, they haven't the slightest idea what words mean and they're used to a surveillance camera on every lamppost. Security isn't in their nature.

He seems to be saying that criticism of the media (which I thought was a part of ‘free speech’) somehow violates ‘freedom of the press’. Reminds me of the opinion of a failed presidential candidate who said that the lesson of 1984 “is a warning to us to avoid mistrusting “the people we need to rely on: our leaders, the press, experts…”

Even more, they expect the President to go along with all the fake news that they spew. They are ill-accustomed to a President showing independence, and actually attempting to discharge his duties in a manner consistent his oath of office.

General Hayden, who is also a former director of the National Surveillance Agency (NSA),

And just how can we be reassured of his past patriotism? He may have been in his own swamp all these years.

Another Clinton-Obama a$$-kissing shoe shine boy promoted to Generalissimo with CIA bathroom privileges. Let's correct his thinking with an attitude adjustment:

> "Until now it was not possible for me to conceive of an American President capable of such an outrageous assault taking a courageous stand on truth, against a free fake press or that lies using the first amendment."

If you ain’t taking flak you ain’ over the target. President Trump is directly over the target. Hayden knows exactly the extent to which the Obama administration used the NSA (he was part of the NSA at the time) to spy on Americans for mere political purposes. Hayden and his ilk are feeling the heat. They are about to be revealed for the political scum they are while all the time posing as honorable public s servants. He has a chest full of service ribbons and they may become meaningless. This would be a travisty for a retired military guy.

So NSA is now the National Surveillance Agency? Well, at least that’s truth in labelling...finally.
