My opinion is the DEMS/MEDIA have made running for office such a risk for GOP types....that NO one wants to go through that. The lies that get spouted about conservative people and their private lives makes it very difficult. Moore, hopefully, proves you can overcome the lies, as has Trump, who started the pushback on the DEMS/MEDIA...but it’s going to be difficult. We have a hard enough time just getting people to run for City Council/Commissions/School Boards...

A. B. it’s a damn shame that the balless republican party types have rolled over. The only saving grace is that the left is adrift in a morass of dysfunction, lies and deceit. They may also have managed to steal so much money that not many donors are willing to bail their party out. So for those reasons they are much worse off these days than the right. If it wasn’t for Soros and a handful of other gazillionaires, walk around money and funds used to corrupt government officials would have dried up to a panic level.
Tim Scott is a black Lindsey Graham. Nothing more. He’s done absolutely nothing as a Republican Senator to advance the party. He usually never opens his mouth and when he does he sounds exactly like a democrat. His first couple years in the senate most people thought he couldn’t talk.

It was a double edged sword. For lying under oath about his sexual activities. The lying was the impeachment charge. The sex stuff, while at best terrible, was an efort to create outrage. Remember Bob Doles famous “where’s the outrage?”
