I don’t know if it’s that high, but if the White community ends up with an epidemic of fatherlessness, it will end up with the same problems that face Blacks (namely that of being more prone to criminal behavior and poor education).
It requires more of fathers than being there—though that’s a good start. Fathers MUST learn/know how to extend emotional intimacy; lavish healthy affection; thoroughly dependable unconditional love; firm fitting boundaries etc. They must make a heart to heart emotionally bonded CONNECTION that endures at least the first 6-8 years of life. Merely showing up at ball games is a good start but NOT SUFFICIENT in and of itself.
I know the figures a few years back were black 70%+, Hispanic around 50% and white around 20%. Asian the lowest as I recall.
