I agree yours is a possibility, but not the only possibility. So why the year-long kabuki theater? If there is a mountain of evidence against Hillary, why isn't there even a glimpse that Mueller is trying to climb it?

In the name of everything holy, I hope Sessions does not allow him even to peruse any records. I wouldn’t trust him to destroy, change, remove or eat records in order to cover up his misdeeds. Comey probably had this in mind when he arranged, in the most circuitous way, to get Mueller in there so he would have access to “records.” Shades of records placed in pants and socks by that idiot, whose name I have mercifully forgotten.

I would argue that there is plenty of evidence that Mueller has already climbed the mountain of evidence against Hillary and her fellow conspirators. This is the greatest corruption scandal in American history, not a 50-minute episode of Perry Mason. It is amazing to me that there are hundreds of sealed indictments after only six months. Observe the stark contrast in demeanor between President Trump and his his enemies. Who is calm, and who is afraid?

So let's go back to May 16, 2017 when President Trump interviewed Robert Mueller for the FBI job that Mueller was not even eligible to accept... Trump already knew that the FBI had paid an informant with hard evidence in the Uranium One bribery scam. Trump knew that Mueller was FBI director at the time and that as director, Mueller knew all about the informant and the evidence. Which man wielded the power in that meeting? How do you think their conversation went?

Hillary got Manafort ejected from the campaign with her Ukrainian collusion. You’re making way too many assumptions without evidence and ignoring evidence to the contrary with this idea.
The reality is Sessions stabbed Trump in the back and Mueller is a lawfare coup against Trump. I like Trump a lot, but conspiracies of nature you’re trying to construct don’t exist in reality.

Trump tried to have him removed. The supposedly GOP Senate told him they wouldn’t approve another AG if Trump fired Sessions and then refused to go on recess to prevent Trump from an interim appointment. Heck Trump even floated replacing Moore with Sessions and Sessions refused.
Jeff Sessions is a stone around the neck of Trump. Everything Trump’s is doing with the DOJ is consistent with Sessions being compromised and Trump’s hands being tied.
You should read Trump's own tweets and interviews more than you read whoever is putting this destructive false narrative in front of you. Start with my tagline, and move on to his pleas for the DoJ ro "DO SOMETHING!" etc. The BS that Mueller is after Clinton and not Trump is likely a trick concocted by CIA-types to throw you completely off their scent.
