No, they cannot ruin any of those holidays. They didn’t give them to us and they cannot take them away.
We enjoyed a great Thanksgiving. It was a regular work day here but afterward, I put the food in the oven to bake and decorated the table. Then, hubby and another teacher came over. We enjoyed fellowship, good food and a Bible study on Hebrews 13 afterward. Prayers of thankfulness for God’s blessings ascended.
None of that was contingent on externals such as politics. Christmas will be the same. Then, friend’s birthday, Hubby’s birthday, daughter’s anniversary, Dad’s birthday, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Busy week and forget about externals.
