Lois Lerner, who almost singlehandedly weaponized the IRS, turning into a bludgeon to be used against Tea Party and other groups in the 2012 reelection campaign of Barack Obama, now wants to be protected against threats and intimidation from the groups and people she helped threaten and intimidate:
Former IRS official Lois Lerner and her deputy are asking a federal court to keep their testimonies in the Tea Party targeting case private forever, over fear of death threats and potential harm to their families if the documents go public.Lerner and her deputy Holly Paz filed a motion last Thursday to keep the materials -- including tapes and transcripts of their depositions -- sealed due to threats they have received in the past.
Court documents, reviewed by Fox News, said the “public dissemination of their deposition testimony would expose them and their families to harassment and a credible risk of violence and physical harm.”…
Lerner and Paz pointed to comments from Tea Party leader Mark Meckler that the lawsuit would “treat the IRS like the criminal thugs they are.” The court filing argued that his comments have created a “fertile environment where threats” against them have “flourished.”
Only the lawless Lois Lerner would feel threatened by legal proceedings initiated by her abuse of government power. Calling her and her IRS co-conspirators “criminal thugs” is not a threat but an understatement. What she fears is not violence but that the truth about her crimes, what she did and what she got away with, will be finally and fully known and that she would no longer be able to hide behind a bogus and fraudulent Fifth Amendment pleading before Congress.

Congressman Issa stated on Fox news the other day that his people had forwarded criminal charges against Lerner to the DOJ.
Nothing happened!
It would not surprise me one bit if it went all the way to the oval office. The occupant was a “community organizer” and used all sorts of Chicago dirty tricks to win his first state and national offices. He was obviously as crooked as they come. It would be a huge surprise to me if he did NOT “weaponize” the IRS on his own and they all accommodatingly fell in line.
You have to give credit to leftist scum. They know how to play the victim and will do so no matter the circumstances. Totally shameless.
I’m thinking we can use the same argument against Obama’s election in 2012 that the Dems and Clinton are using against Trump. Because Lerner stopped so many conservative organizations from being able to raise money and advocate for the Republican candidate, then Obama was not legitimately elected.
