Fort Benning, GA. Just two weeks in and the first and only time I actually felt ‘homesick’. Got over it quick when I pulled KP.
What year, this could be one heck of a coincidence.
Just asking because in 1980 I was in Infantry OSUT at Benning, just in a week or so.
