are just a couple that fall in.

We used to sign a ‘loyalty oath’ in the Military.
You were NOT required to sign it.

However, if you didn’t sign it, it was assumed you just didn’t want to remain in uniform.

Sort of comes under the heading of when the ILLEGALS/guests/non citizens etc break our laws they don’t mind holding us to the free lawyer, family aid, food stamps etc but yet profess they want to turn OUR Country into the ‘shiitehole’ they are fleeing from.

When I taught I was well aware that school policy permitted students to not say the pledge. I asked that they all stand however and I said the pledge loudly. If a student did not wish to say anything that was OK with me as long as they showed the respect to stand. Much like I feel for the NFL players.
