That was my thought too. I had a dear friend getting chemo and she had something called “foot drop”, and needed a boot to walk properly as a result of the meds.

I subscribe to the theory that there’s nothing wrong with either ankle... he’s just playing for sympathy. And there is an outside chance the restraint is covering a tracking devise. Perhaps they had t0 change ankles for one reason or another.
Plus, on the 2nd photo McCain’s left “swollen” jaw is showing correctly in non reverse mode (on his left).

I’m not much of a wild Alex Jones conspiracy type, but the fact that they seem to have the same exact boot is very suspicious, there’s been talk of ankle monitoring, but don’t believe that would be something they would have to wear.

When I was at the Pentagon I had a nice bumper sticker that said “Jane Fonda, American Traitor Bitch.”
The MP at the Fort Myer gate denied me entry because of it. I was gonna go to the NCO Club for a beer.

If you were trying to get into the Navy Yard or Quantico the Marine on the gate probably would have joined you for that beer....
I used to go into Quantico a lot with my own vehicle and majority of the time they would just wave me through (Vietnam Vet License Plates) and more than likely would salute.
Marines take care of ‘their own’ and my ‘knowing’ a couple of the NCO MPs didn’t hurt....
