I grew up in Silver Spring and had an apartment there not long ago. I have a lot of fond memories of Silver Spring. I hate to see what’s becoming of it.

Yeah, I remember Silver Spring from 1980. Moved back to Maryland a few years ago. Don't plan on staying here long. Grew up here and the Democrats have totally destroyed it. They even have an "anti-gerrymander" plan now where the top party gets to claim the one-two seats in a "run-off" during an election.
Needless to say this only ensures a Democrat majority just as it does in California
