A new report indicates that CBS This Morning would really like Oprah Winfrey to at least temporarily step in and fill the void left by Charlie Rose.
The network fired Rose yesterday as more and more women have come out and accused the former anchor of sexual harassment and various inappropriate behavior. As CBS tries to move forward, Page Six heard from a source who said they are trying to convince Winfrey to take Rose’s place next to Norah O’Donnell and Gayle King.
“They are begging Oprah to fill in,” said the source. “Not full time…But they are hoping she’ll do one day, two days, one hour, fill in until Christmas. Anything.”
King is one of Winfrey’s best friends, and the CBS host is editor-at-large for Winfrey’s magazine. Winfrey became a part-time CBS correspondent for 60 Minutes earlier this year, and yesterday, King said her friend reached out to her when the allegations against Rose started breaking.
“I got an hour and 42 minutes of sleep last night,” King said. “Both my son and my daughter called me. Oprah called me and said, ‘Are you okay?’ I am not okay.”
Indeed, King spoke with Stephen Colbert last night and said Rose’s fall from grace was “very painful” for her to process.

Gayle King, got her job “sucking up” to “OP”. OP gave us “HE IS THE WU UNNNnnnnn” Obamanation. She is a canker sore in the mouth of Lady Liberty. What she deserves is a Peroxide bath until she disappears.

After I retired,some years ago,I thought I’d check out the morning shows.
I lasted 3 days and have never watched one since then.
Utter,mind numbing,garbage.

So, that’s why her “friend” Gayle King has been on every channel the past couple of days.
Whatever. My point remains.
