A new report indicates that CBS This Morning would really like Oprah Winfrey to at least temporarily step in and fill the void left by Charlie Rose.
The network fired Rose yesterday as more and more women have come out and accused the former anchor of sexual harassment and various inappropriate behavior. As CBS tries to move forward, Page Six heard from a source who said they are trying to convince Winfrey to take Rose’s place next to Norah O’Donnell and Gayle King.
“They are begging Oprah to fill in,” said the source. “Not full time…But they are hoping she’ll do one day, two days, one hour, fill in until Christmas. Anything.”
King is one of Winfrey’s best friends, and the CBS host is editor-at-large for Winfrey’s magazine. Winfrey became a part-time CBS correspondent for 60 Minutes earlier this year, and yesterday, King said her friend reached out to her when the allegations against Rose started breaking.
“I got an hour and 42 minutes of sleep last night,” King said. “Both my son and my daughter called me. Oprah called me and said, ‘Are you okay?’ I am not okay.”
Indeed, King spoke with Stephen Colbert last night and said Rose’s fall from grace was “very painful” for her to process.
[groan] What did Charlie do?
Why would she want to work at a place she could buy with just her Mad Money account?...................
Keith Olbermann is available.
Why? So Oprah & Gayle King can carry out their romance on air?
Why not have Dr. Phil, who could counsel sex addicts?
Isn’t that like trying to get Aaron Rodgers to fill in for Colin Kaepernick?
CBS is hoping that Gayle can convince her life partner to do it.
If I were her, I’d tell them,”I worked my butt off for 40 years just so I wouldn’t HAVE TO GET UP AT 3AM and go to work! Find some other fool to do that ‘cuz it ain’t ME!”...............”

Winfrey does not need the money or the hassles of doing a regular show. She’s into management now.

CBS needs to check out every man who works there who says he backs ‘women’s rights’ AND can’t name anything beyond ‘right to choose abortion’... THht’s the ‘tell’.
She’ll go for some really big bucks, as she should, because it will be super for ratings.
Are they sure Oprah “I did yo drug” Winfrey hasn’t groped anybody?
Gayle will force her to do it for a while, and then they will both get sick of each other...
