Sounds like the navy needs to stop the online training and go back to traditional, in the classroom, real world training. It worked for 200 yrs...

Survival in the ocean after a plane crash or whatever is very chancy even in warm water.
Still hope to find & read accident report finds. Maybe:
1. Low fuel & flame out
2. Contaminated fuel & flame out
All while on approach to Reagan. C-2 Pilot deserves high award/recognition for safe ditch. Distinguished Flying Cross, Navy Cross and Purple Heart.
