60,000 join far-right march on Poland's Independence Day

WARSAW, Poland (AP) - Tens of thousands of nationalists marched in a demonstration organized by far-right groups in Warsaw Saturday, as Poles celebrated their country's Independence Day.

The far-right march was one of many events marking Poland's rebirth as a nation in 1918 after being wiped off the map for 123 years. Earlier in the day, President Andrzej Duda presided over state ceremonies also attended by European Union president Donald Tusk, a former Polish prime minister.

But the march has become the largest Independence Day event in recent years, overshadowing official state observances and other patriotic events. Some participants expressed sympathy for xenophobic or white supremacist ideas, with one banner reading, "White Europe of brotherly nations."

For some reason this event was not really discussed much on Free Republic, which is unfortunate. I believe one person posted an article, but put it in "Bloggers" for some reason, which most people ignore.

I'd like to correct that now.

The MSM coverage of the event was a terrible example of Fake News, in my opinion. This AP article was picked up by almost every other news source that reported on the event? What happened to papers actually reporting by sending their own reporters? Warsaw is not so hard to get to, particularly for British news outlets.

Instead we see the same odd quotes and mis-characterizations spread everywhere by the AP and the few other MSM reports.

The Mail had the best pictures, as usual, so I've selected their version of the MSM/FakeNews basic reporting on this event.

When someone writes that people who embrace who the are as a nation are “far right”, it is clear that that as a person are traitors to their neighbors in the fight for globalist masters.

Not cheerfully surrendering your country and culture to Muslim immigrants = “Far Right” to the fake news media.

Earlier in the Day:

Of course, the ghoulish antifa were there, too, protesting.

Yes, this event deserved more attention. But, as usual, the media has decided to equate nationalists with the “far-right”. The implication is clear. If you are a nationalist, you are a member of the far-right. And that’s the same as being a Nazi.

I wonder why the media doen’t call Islamic terrorists “members of the far-left”? (That’s a rhetorical question. I know why.)

Is this another instance where the so-called “news” media refers to people who are patriotic as “far right”?

Yes I saw it. The 60,000 number is a joke. That’s FAKE NEWS. What I am hearing around the web is the real numbeer is around 120,000.

Here is a video of an English guy covering the march. Skip up to 2 minutes and 33 seconds.

"Far Right"? "Nationalist"? "Xenophobic"? "White Supremacist"?

Really?

If the leftist liars in Big Media hate it that much, it must be good.

That looks a little more than 60k.

I’m sticking with the 120k number.

“60,000 join far-right march on Poland’s Independence Day”

Wonderful news! Great to hear that there are so many sane, common sense, proud polish people willing to stand up for their country.

The MSM coverage of the march was given a solid deconstruction by James Kirkpatrick in his essay The National Question and the War on Poland which makes some good points.

Excerpt:

The international Main Stream Media, in that curiously coordinated way it has, has exploded in outrage over the country celebrating its existence. This reaction shows hatred is indeed on the rise—not among Poles, directed against Jews or minorities, but among journalists determined to ensure not one functional Western nation-state will survive the 21st

But why? The author's opinion:

Thus, this international media campaign is a vast exercise in concern trolling, trying to get the Polish government to punch right and undermine its own coalition. The endgame of course, is to force Poland to accept mass Muslim immigration, break Eastern European resistance to the policies being set by Germany and other anti-white Western European governments, a nd reduce Poland to simply a province of the EU, rather than an independent nation-state.

reduce Poland to simply a province of the EU, rather than an independent nation-state.

That would also be the internationalist swampocrats' plan for these United States.

I simply DO NOT TRUST the mainstream media to describe or label any political group accurately.

If they are being called “far right protesters” in Europe, they are probably simple middle class people tired of being run over by Brussels and George Soros.

We ARE beginning to see through the lies. Not just “us”, but regular folks like my poor deluded neighbors.

It’s not enough yet to cause a rebellion, but if “they” don’t back off, which they won’t and can’t, it will become one as a matter of mere survival. That’s my prediction...

You can’t keep telling people that they’re racist and evil for looking after their own. Eventually they will just say: Okay, I’m racist and evil.” and start living down to the expectation.
