The timing for the conference in Little Rock, Ark., couldnt have been worse. But apparently the participants didnt notice.
Commemorating the 25 years since the 1992 presidential election may have seemed like a great idea when the geniuses at the Clinton Foundation began planning a big party for their boss. But the celebration held last weekend coincided with the epidemic of famous men accused of sexual harassment or assault, which reminded us of Bill Clintons equally horrible behavior.
But even before the #metoo movement began rewriting the history of the Clinton administration, Democrats were already done with them. Though the party is primarily focused these days on the resistance, Hillarys willingness to blame everyone but herself for her loss as well as her whining about the results legitimacy is a gift to President Trump and an embarrassment to Democrats.
Yet just when it seems that the Clintons have been transformed from the ultimate power couple on an inevitable path back to the White House into political pariahs, Democrats would be wrong to ignore how the 1992 and 1996 elections were won.
The Clintons may be toast but what the Democrats need now to prevail against Trump is exactly the kind of centrist appeal that propelled those wins and enabled the 42nd presidents ability to govern effectively without being in thrall to his partys left wing.

An early picture of Hillary..
The Uniparty offered a massive human sacrifice in broad daylight, to increase their power and to get the public’s consent for several wars.
Ross Perot gave us the Clintons.
Read my lips: George H. W. Bush helped a lot, too.
They’re going to create another Ross Perot? That’s how Clinton won.
The lefties for years portrayed the “working class” as darker people working in fast-food dives while wealthy whites lorded over them. This past election forced them to admit much of the working class IS white - and the same as the “middle class” (instead of the welfare class they address as the “working class”).
Years ago in college I had to take a sociology class; the teacher insisted on drawing a sharp line between the “working class” and the “middle class”. They are one and the same!
Trump would have some real problems on his hands if the Democrats nominated Jim Webb in 2020. Fortunately for us, he’s the wrong color, gender and sexuality and is way too moderate for their new radicalized party.
No good-looking wordsmiths like Obama out there. Was BJ good looking? The MSM seemed to think so. Definitely a word-smith.
Kerry, Gore? Just plain unlikable. Can you imagine waking up next to Hillary?
Well the democrap party decided that white people and middle class workers did not matter. Even publicly stated their approach many times and their policies matched it.
