At the Allred press conference, Gloria read from the yearbook and read “Ray.”
The writing looked more like “Ray” than “Roy” which was odd.

Allowing that the stopping point is Ray, the two lines add up to poetry, as one comment pointed out.

Allred refuses to allow any inspection of the actual yearbook.

All I've seen are various photos of the autograph and the video of the presser.
A photocopy would be a 300-dpi scan of the cover and each page. Something like a Google Books entry.
And, of course, even that would not be enough to resolve questions such as age of ink, etc.
No proof exists as to whose yearbook it even was.
All that we have there is Gloria Allred holding up the cover of the 1977 yearbook and letting the camera zoom in for a fleeting second on the personalization to one Beverley Young.
Allred refuses to allow any inspection of the actual yearbook.
Why would she do that? Her client is guilty!

I’ve never seen a yearbook with one’s name imprinted on the front. If it was, it was added later. Is Gloria in witness protect now? Haven’t heard a word from her since Roy’s attorney requested inspection, other than her song and dance as to her conditions for doing so.
This imprint business did not start until early 1980s. I have three from 1975, 1976 and 1977...Alabama high school. Pretty faked up if you ask me.0
