Section 8 kills everywhere it touches.
Having spent a career working in the Detroit metropolitan area, I can attest to the fact that not all commercial construction is any more permanent. Note the Studebaker plant downtown:
The only city I’d live in Tampa. Beautiful condos being built and it’s near the water...besides, Tampa might have a Dem mayor, he is not a Marxist...
Americans aren’t into permanence. We’re into “gets the job done”. What’s the first thing Americans do when we buy a house: remodel. We add rooms to houses constantly. Frame houses fit our mentality.
Of course there’s also the problem they went by train. Poor people live by train tracks in America.
In my view, it was the policy of the Obama administration from HUD to the Transportation Department to EPA, etc., to destroy the more conservative suburbs and move people into blue central cities such as exist in Europe. Well, such as existed in the Soviet Bloc.
If that forced current suburbia dwellers to endure high crime rates, in areas where their votes were now overwhelmed, well, didn’t they deserve it?
People are leaving cities and unfortunately taking their democrat voting habits with them to destroy the suburbs.
Locusts.
I think I live in the suburbs, but it feels more like living in the sticks, until I see the sticks.
