Twitter has a daily dosage of women and men who are speaking – from decades ago to last week –about being sexually assaulted.
More often than not, they are speaking in great, precise detail and naming their attackers.
It's like, as one Twitter user said, that Hugh Hefner's creepy ‘pervdom’ was serving as a force field of protection and now that he's died, everything vile has come out to play in the sunlight outside of the Playboy Mansion.

If what you’re saying is that all the nastiness heaped on Hefner after he is no longer alive to defend himself, now turns have to have been the culture at large, I’d say you’re right.

These claims that "no woman would falsely smear Roy Moore because they risk SO much...death threats," etc. LOL! There is NO RISK for them at all. Most of Moore's accusers owe property taxes or have been in numerous bankruptcies. They have every motive to LIE for $$$.

The issue is not sex assault.
The issue is about fraud & false accusation to destroy a man and unjustly turn an election. Turning that around, to be about you, is ignorant and a disgrace to honorable humans. Get out of your selfish self.

Using the criteria that are currently in vogue, I’ve been sexually harassed many times by women - in much more crude ways than many of the cases in the media. I grew up thinking that women were virtuous, and to be protected. I now know that men and women are the same, with the same weaknesses, ambitions, and motivations. We’re all human.
My point is that it is not acceptable or ethical for anyone, of either gender, to treat another person like an object - irrespective of who is the perpetrator and who is the victim.
Anyone see Rebecca Weir and her “harassment” story on Laura Ingraham? Most ridiculous tale to date. Congressman asked her to “twirl” once to show off her outfit and she’s made a federal case out of it. And the stupid retired congressman is still her friend.
I don’t know anyone who doesn’t sympathize with women who bring forward charges based on fact. Assaulting / raping a woman is about as bad a thing as man can do. Of course child abuse comes in at the same level or worse.
What I don’t think women realize, is how a man can be ruined by charges that are false. Just the charges are enough to change peoples views of a man for life. Even if he is exonerated, those people will never see him the same way again. Some people are convinced that when a woman levels charges, they are definitely true.
Never do people develop a life-long change of view of the woman. If her charges are proven true, she’s respected. That’s a double standard.
Guy beats charges, he’s still suspected and hated.
Girl proves charges, she’s respected.
That is different.
The man is assumed guilty, and if he gets off it’s because he manipulated the system or something.
So women, I don’t defend anything bad happening to you. I will empathize with you and share your anger.
If it comes to my attention you lied, or embellished things far beyond what happened for some ulterior motive, don’t expect my support ever again.
And being falsely accused isn’t fun either.
