I would not be too hard on POTUS. He’s got a nest of poisonous vipers in the Capital building. The Judge can get there on his own, and POTUS will work with him.

The #1 priority at this point should be to not add another viper to the senate snake pit, from Alabama of all places. He has no excess of support there now. All this mealy mouthing and preening coming from a surprising number of Republicans does nothing but help the Dim candidate.
If Moore has to be replaced later, then our Republican governor would appoint another temporary senator.
