Six companies have either pulled ads or publicly distanced themselves from Fox News Hannity after the host was criticized for an interview with Republican Alabama Senate candidate and accused child molester Roy Moore.
RelatedFox News Breached UK Impartiality Rules; ITV & Virgin Media In Carriage Row - Global Briefs Though most of the non-advertisers didnt give specific reasons for their absence from Hannity, their decisions were disclosed in responses to complaints about Sean Hannitys radio interview with Moore Thursday. E*Trade, Realtor.com, Eloquii, 23andme, Natures Bounty and Keurig all responded on Twitter to the complaints.
In response to a query from Angelo Carusone of the watchdog group Media Matters, coffeemaker company Keurig responded, in part, We worked with our media partner and FOX news to stop our ad from airing during the Sean Hannity Show.
That was Limbaugh
Not a word from the Lame Stream Media about the Menendez trial.
If the media gets away with framing Moore it will become the new political weapon. These self righteous republican establishment politicians better watch out. Any woman can look for a pay day. All they have to do is go to the media and say cruz or Lee or McConnell or fill in the blank displayed inappropriate behavior 30 or 40 years ago. Why not revisit Juanita Broderick’s rape claim of 30 years ago. She nevery had her day in court.
Once again, it’s good to not be a huge consumer of all the new hot stuff. I haven’t done business with any of these companies. Bummer, can’t boycott them.
Will not use Keurig again. Tossing out what I have and will never buy from them again. (Expensive anyway!)
To hell with Keurig!
Hilarious... Who on earth runs the marketing dept. for these companies? Nobody with a brain, that’s for sure. The odds of a boycott ever working are somewhere between nada and zilch.... in fact, boycotts almost always backfire and fail miserably and I suspect that it will really backfire in this case for one primary reason... Hannity has a big soapbox. As Exhibit A to study for this failure mechanism, go back sand look what happened in a similar situation with the great El Rushbo... What it will do is make sure that people who otherwise wouldn’t watch Hannity will do so where they can hear all about it... and they go back and watch the original segment and if they did that, they would find that Hannity was beyond fair with Moore. That can’t help but turn them against the advertisers. In the meantime, Hannity’s numbers will continue to rise and that brings in more (and better advertisers)....and leaves the departed ones in the dust. Investment advice here.... start shorting the stocks of Keurig and the other companies who curtained advertising on Hannity.
“Some story earlier today said Hannitys fans were mad at him about the Moore interview. “
Well, count me in. I tweeted to Sean that I was done with him, and I am. For one thing the fu*ker never shuts up. You can’t even understand some of the thoughts his guests are trying to get over because Sean is running his mouth in high gear all the time.
Realtor.com uses Elizabeth Banks in their commercials.
One of the biggest lefty pro-abort liberals currently
walking the planet. No surprises here.
These companies (some foreign) are globalists. They hate American-Americans who are not globalist bum kissers.
Too true and in a related theme, this latest posting on FR a few minutes ago is going to put a smile on your face... Conservatives are posting videos of themselves smashing their Keurig coffee makers. Now they have got a whole new 'sky is falling' routine to dance in front of their boss!
