Klobuchar: If Moore Wins He Can Be Expelled After an Ethics Committee Investigation
Breitbart ^ | 11/12/2017 | pam key

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) discussed the report in The Washington Post that accused former state Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct.

She said if Moore were to win in the December 12 U.S. Senate special election, he could be expelled if an ethics committee finds wrongdoing in an investigation.

Klobuchar said, “We may not have much choice on that, but we have choice on something else. That is that you can expel a senator once they are in with two-thirds of the vote after the ethics committee does an investigation.

Yes, this is the point that will kill an investigation. Most members of Congress would not survive scrutiny. Always bothered me that we find out later that Gingrich had issues, Hassert was a homosexual predator, Condit dating and murdering his intern, Chris Matthews doing similar with a staff member, etc. What other surprises would we find if each member was scrutinized? Pelosi on althimers drugs?

Someone truly ethical should investigate the ethics committee.

This is the moving of the goalposts. They did this after Trump won.

Remember the absurd Hollywood libtards making a video telling electors not to vote for Trump?

Now they’re trying to tell the voters in Alabama THEY — the all-powerful Uniparty — will tell them who they can and can’t have as their U.S. Senator.

Moore needs to do a “Trump Triangulation” here. Put the voters in Alabama in a position to ‘send a message to the liberal mainstream media and corrupt Washington politicians. How? Vote for me!”

The ones who are not perverts (65 to 80) could be removed for financial crimes. I think its a great idea, better than term limits.

what is with the younger generation that is so appalled at a 32 year old respectable guy dating a 17-18 year old female, but having no issues with LBGT morality? A transvestite was just elected to the Virginia house of delegates (defeating a conservative republican), why isn’t there an outcry here and many other places in the senate and house?

Bawney Fwank’s boyfriend ran a prostitution ring out of the DC apartment they shared and that was just fine, as any attempt to expel or censure him failed.

You mean like they did with Clinton after the abuse of Lewinsky was exposed..........

Two primary traits of liberals/progressives: #1: Lying; #2: Hypocrisy.

Is it at all possible that an investigation might exonerate him? Or do they write the conclusion first, and then investigate? Ask Mueller.

Even if this is the Swamp betraying America, Judge Moore should use it:

Point out that the claims were released just one month before the election specifically so there would not be time to prove them false. This option gives voters a chance to express their preference while ignoring the allegations. If they prove to have some basis, the US Senate can remove Judge Moore. If not, the democrats don’t get to steal that seat. There is no down side to voting for Moore, even in the unlikely event that these stories are not a fiction created by democrats and the establishment.

Yep. Just like they expelled Robert Byrd (D-KKK) after he used the mother of all racist slur words twice on a cable TV news program in 2001.

Strom Thurmond was 44 when he married his first wife, Jean Crouch (1926–1960), in the South Carolina Governor’s mansion on November 7, 1947.[30] In April 1947, when Crouch was a senior at Winthrop College, Thurmond was a judge in a beauty contest in which she was selected as Miss South Carolina. He 44 & she 21

Thurmond married his second wife, Nancy Janice Moore (born 1946), on December 22, 1968. He was 66 years old and she was 22. She had won Miss South Carolina in 1965.

At age 68 in 1971, Thurmond fathered the first of four children with Nancy, who was then 25.

Thurmond represented South Carolina in the United States Senate from 1954 until 2003, at first as a Democrat and, after 1964, as a Republican.

The globalist traitors are just hellbent on getting this guy out which makes him even more likely to win. Like Bannon said, this really is a war and the people are wise to it.

How can the Ethics Committee investigate something that allegedly happened before the Senator was elected?

If being a Klansman is not grounds for Senate expulsion why would these allegations be so?

I think the voting public needs to reinstate the guillotine for members of the Senate. They are out of control.

Voting won't get it done...
