Actually, it depends on how you define "racism". Actual racial hatred? Yeah, you probably learn that later. Recognition of racial differences? You'd have to be blind and stupid not to see them.

That said, I spent a lot of time around black men when I was younger. We had a good number of conversations regarding white vs. black and other racial stuff (being a big guy has its advantages). You really wouldn't believe some of the anti-white crap that black people, even the ones you think aren't particularly hostile to white people, take for granted about white people. For example, stupid things like white people created AIDS to kill black people or they invented crack to kill black people, etc. I had a black woman tell me that, as far as she was concerned, any white man she sees could be a KKK member (in California no less!). And she was a friend of mine.

When white people are watching black riots and protests and the like, and trying to figure out why black people are so convinced that whitey is out to get them - it's this sort of crap, fed to them from their birth and reinforced by Hollywood and various left-wing political activists.
