Thanks for posting that. I was wondering the same thing, especially when I saw the “UAW lost” item in the title of the thread. It looks like the NYT article was posted on 11/8 — just BEFORE the union vote.
You are correct. The Times ran this favorable article about the owner of this company prior to the unionization election. I cannot fathom why. There must be a devious Machiavellian reason as to why they would paint a favorable portrait instead of what is usually portrayed, an evil profit grubbing capitalist.
No, actually, not allowed to exist. They never make it to the stage of controlled. Unions are illegal in China.
