My guess: They plan to be the Washington Generals to the Democrat’s Harlem Globetrotters. Get out there and play what looks like a decent game. But always lose. Then collect a paycheck afterwards.

All the GOPe care about is getting rich through running big government. Even in a minority position.
Progressives have mostly taken over corporate America and those are folks making these worthless RINOs rich. So these dumpster Republicans are happy to lose to Democrats as long as the progressive agenda making them rich is advanced. In fact, they love it when Democrats do the heavy lifting work installing socialism while they all get rich.
