What I wrote is reality, at least for me. I was so disenchanted after my tour here I turned down a promotion and retired. I decided that since it was so screwed up and not focused on the warriors in the field I should help my family and make some money.
I started my own company and did engineering & development stuff but had to work alongside most of the big DoD corporate players. They were all disgusting, except a few of their workers, and I had to deal directly with many retired flag officers, only a few who were actually trying to help our Country. The rest of those overpaid swelled-heads I wouldn't cross the street to pee on them if they were on fire.
