Getting one’s “butt kicked” is generally a slang remark of disparagement, as in someone lost a fight. I have never yet heard it used in a context which did not seem to be disparaging the person whose “butt” was kicked, but maybe you are the first to use it without intending to mock the target.
I’ve been a supporter of Paul and his dad since before it was cool. Probable still isn’t cool. Even got suspended on this board once for my Ron Paul ping list. People get their butts kicked by assholes every day. Noob. :-)
Agreed. No, his butt wasn’t “kicked.” He was ambushed, in the same way some cops are ambushed in their patrol cars. I suppose you think they got their “butts kicked,” too? What an asinine comment!
He got his butt kicked, ass kicked or even the $hit kicked out of him. There’s really no nice way to say it. The guy who attacked him, intended to do great bodily harm or even kill. There might have even been some real kicks delivered to his ribcage to do that kind of damage. I’m guessing the guy outweighed Rand by 30 or 40 pounds. This is why the Smith & Wesson Revolver was invented, to take away the advantage animals like this used to have over smaller men.
