About 8 years ago one of my grandsons,age 12, posted on FB that the family was leaving for vacation the next day and would be gone for a week.In other words,the house would be empty.

I was horrified-—and immediately notified my daughter to warn him about his postings.

He’s 20 now,and virtually disapperared from FB——it’s seems to be passé for the kids.

Today’s kids prefer Instagram and Snapchat. Facebook is seen as less cool since everyone’s grandparents are on it.
