When I was a kid, I really admired the man. It is indeed disheartening seeing how thoroughly I was deceived. But, I was just a kid, so what did I know?

Does this all mean that outraged citizens will demand that all MLK statues be torn down? That instead of MLK Day we celebrate Freedom Day?

For the most part, Jesus saved his condemnation for the corrupt leaders of his faith. Not much has changed in that regard.

Who knows if the mothers in question ever told their children who their real father was. With the help of modern DNA tests the children could make a bid for some of the money the King family makes off of MLK. (I don’t know how much that is or whether it would be worth a lawsuit.)
