Manafort has been a D.C. Swamp Creature for decades, and the information reported on him in recent weeks makes me wonder if he was actually working to undermine the Trump campaign when he was hired as the campaign manager. His ties to Hillary Clinton and her minions are much deeper than his ties to Donald Trump.

That’s the problem I have with all this. Republicans are held to a higher standard than democrats. Our government is knee-deep in corruption.

No doubt in my mind Manafort's dirty, the only question is "how dirty?" and is he being squeezed/leveraged somehow to go after a bigger target?
Since this is 2012 that's in scope here, I'm guessing it's very unlikely this has anything to do with President Trump, and certainly not the campaign given the 4 year time difference.
