A federal grand jury in Washington, DC, on Friday approved the first charges in the investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller, according to sources briefed on the matter.

The charges are still sealed under orders from a federal judge. Plans were prepared Friday for anyone charged to be taken into custody as soon as Monday, the sources said. It is unclear what the charges are.

The evidence coming out is that:
* Mueller and FBI knew Clinton was being bribed by Russia to sell uranium.
* The dossier Clinton’s team now calls opposition research was either provided by Russia or created by Clinton’s team and vouched for with foreign sources - and spread by a politicized intelligence agency. In short, foreign collusion to smear the name of a Republican candidate.
* Mueller and others in the Deep State were coming up with false charges of Trump collusion to distract from their own crimes and prevent investigation of their own.
* Mueller is guilty of many crimes because he led the false investigation into Trump while participating in coverup of Clinton’s crimes.

It’s not bad news for Boente. He’s staying in the position until his replacement is named and confirmed, so it’s not like he’s about to be indicted. The speculation here was that he’s actually going to be a witness in the case.

When you are charged with a crime you are arrested. You can then be released to await your trial after you post bail.

If ‘taken into custody’ comes from a government source, it indicates a small fry, maybe even a foreign national. Big fish make arrangements to appear before prosecutors as negotiated by their lawyers.

THanks.

My experience with the legal system (aside from traffic tickets) has all been civil.

There was a thread posted on this late last night that has about 800 replies right now.

One of the sources cited in the thread indicated that the indictment was sealed for national security reasons, so the identities of the targets won’t be known publicly until they are taken into custody.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

what’s your take on comey being the player mueller has filed sealed charges on??

comey testified before congress that he passed on classified info to harvard professor who leaked it to the press.

so, he has admitted guilt under oath of passing on classified information “for the purpose of getting a special counsel appointed to investigate”

so, nothing further to investigate to “prove guilt”

imo, this fits the overall theory that RR, muleheas, and combover are all running this according to plan

comey can be given immunity & become state’s star witness against hildabeast & lynch

p.s.l.s.: thanx for heads up on brian/d&s blog

“In which case, things will get very nasty in this country.”

Hate to say it, but that won’t happen.

Unless, of course you’re talking about TwitterWorld overflowing with very nasty and rude comments.

>>When a special prosecutor comes up empty, the answer is to start filing charges. It’s the incarnation of the inquisition.<<

That is exactly what it is. And President Trump and that POS Sessions have allowed this asshat to continue for months on what is nothing but a witch hunt to keep the media hounds and the stupid American people from focusing on the REAL criminals in positions of power in our government and in the private sector. The Deep State criminals are going to destroy our Constitutional Republic unless the POTUS and his legions of supporters do not declare WAR on these traitors.

Paul Manafort. He used to be a Trump campaign manager for a while, but at one point Trump sacked him. He is known to be cozy with some dodgy characters including several Russian oligarchs.

Right. They’re desperate. They need to shake things up hugely. My pick: Donald Trump Jr.

plus, LS, how does this “leak” square up with your theory that leaks (CNN?) along through here will be coming from “targets”

if so, indictment would be against a “black hat”?

First, very little corroboration of this leak anywhere else. Odd. No NBCCBSABCMSNBC and so on.

But let’s say it’s real. Hearing from sources that it’s Manafort and Tony Podesta for not registering as foreign reps, both tied to . . .

Podesta Group/Cankles.

No Trump. No collusion.

How does that “square up?”

Go ahead mueller and make charges for political reasons and see what charges come out of this administration. If he’s trying to take down Trump before Trump takes him down he’s in for a rude awakening.

I’m replying to all my ping list so I don’t answer 100 separate e-mails.

1. So far, there is little confirmation/expansion of this “story.” It’s really CNN or WSJ-—unclear which has the “source.”

2. They are probably both using the same source, which would explain it.

3. Could be some sort of designed leak to reveal leaker in GJ.

4. For now say it’s legit, say there are “indictments.” Per news last night (Fox) neither Manafort nor his atty have been informed of any indictment. That is odd, especially for someone who was a “cooperating” witness. (BTW, I still don’t buy that his house was “raided” in the way we are told. I think it was staged with Manafort’s cooperation-—get it? He’s a “cooperating” witness?) Anyway, a cooperating witness usually gets consideration. They aren’t grabbed in the middle of the night. They are allowed to turn themselves in on the specified day.

That said, neither Manafort nor his lawyer have had any such notification.

That jibes with what I’m hearing form my “source”, namely that there will be no immediate arrests.

5. The indictments I’m hearing-—and I could be totally wrong, as I’ve said on every thread-—are Manafort AND Tony Two-Toes Podesta, both for failing to register as foreign agents.

6. This leads entirely, I’m told, to the Podesta Group, and money laundering for the DNC/Cankles.

7. It does NOT lead to Trump or the administration.

8. If this is correct, then likely Manafort has already turned “state’s evidence” and is providing info, and Tony Two-Toes will soon sing.

How does my theory that Mulehead is working for Trump sound so far?

9. Further, I’m told by a counter-terror guy who has LOTS of experience with precisely these kinds of arrests/cases that indeed this is the tip of the iceberg, that Combover is a likely target given that the case against him is already made in public and there isn’t much work to do.

A solid giveaway, he says, that the case is national security related is the sealed nature of the indictments. That reeks of U1 as well, but we’ll see.

10. The only way Hannity’s little “tick tock” means anything is IF between now and Monday Mulehead comes up with new indictments (won’t happen cuz court is closed). Possible on Monday he might . . . for ppl related to U1. If that’s the case . . .

11. How does this mean Mulehead isn’t working for Trump?

There is only one scenario in which Mulehead is working for the bad guys and that is if the indictees are Manafort, Don Jr., or Jared (no chance). Possible there could be an indictment for the Russkie chick, leading back to . . . Podesta.

In other words—AND I COULD BE WRONG-—right now all signs point to an investigation of the Podesta group as the starting point, with or without U1.

It’s IMPERATIVE that Trump pardon whomever is charged by Mueller.

Not matter what the charge is.

It’s the best possible signal to send.
