Outgoing Republican Sen. Bob Corker’s approval numbers suffered in Tennessee after his feud with President Donald Trump.

A poll from Middle Tennessee State University found Corker’s disapproval numbers were at 41 percent, up 14 points from polling in the Spring.

It wasn't supposed to be this way! Corker should have gone UP in their estimation.

The people are watching!!!

This pearl clutching player should be at much higher disapproval, imo.

Besides his constant NeverTrump fan dancing, is it not true that Corked is to receive a lifetime kick back on that TN shopping center racket he’s in on? That was a nasty little story detailed on a conservative site some time ago.

Maybe it was not accurate as I have seen it up nowhere else, since. What is wrong with Tennessee?

The poll numbers from a retiring Senator are meaningless. Did his poll numbers go down because of the Trump spat or did they go down because he announced he’s not going to run again?

Suffering?

Not nearly enough, if any.

“””Among those who heard about the spat, 40 percent disapprove of Corker and approve of Trump but 34 percent approve Corker and disapprove of Trump.

Corker’s approval in the state is now 45 percent compared to 52 percent in the spring.”””

Well, him walking out would not impress me either, because he sounds like a whiny coward without further information.

Those that decide to show their ignorant asses by going after Trump with leftist talking points always end up like Flake and Corker. If anyone that hates Trump actually had any real dirt on him he would have been buried and forgotten by now....

never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it.

I love Trump. I love his tweets. I love that he "likes it". I also understand why so many people have issues with his tweets and attacks.
What people don't see is that he's bringing opponents into "his mud" rather than trying to wrestle in the pig sty of US media. And they don't have a chance when he picks the arena. The wrestling WILL happen and 1/2 the country WILL think it's dirty. Nice to be on the winning side after so many years of always being the "away team".

"...or did they go down because he announced he’s not going to run again?"

As a Tennessee voter, I'm somewhat disappointed at Corker's decision to not give me a chance to vote against him to partially offset my past mistakes.

RINO/CROOK Corkers scandals have caught up with him. So he chose NOT to run again. To bad Lamar didn’t keep his 2 terms and out promise. Only reason either got elected the first time was because the were the lesser of 2 evils. The dems running were worse than them.
