I seriously doubt it, but I would hope you are correct.
Don’t remember anybody doing that when Lord Obama was Elected. The same guy who is on record saying that our beloved Constitution should be a list of Negative Rights (as in what the Government can “do” (to) for you, not a Document that affirms our God Given Rights and restricts the power of Government.
My guess..both Manafort AND the Podesta brothers are indicted
The Podesta brothers and Uranium One talk is wishful thinking. Mueller was appointed to investigate Trump, his campaign, and his White House staff, and that’s where the indictments will be. Indictments of Manafort and Flynn are virtually certain. Maybe one other big fish and a couple of little fish from the campaign or the staff. No indictments on actual (mis)conduct with Russia, those all have huge fact and law issues. The indictments will be for ancillary offenses: obstruction of justice, perjury (on background checks), money laundering and tax evasion. No real appetite for a “kill shot” — that’s not where Mueller’s bread is buttered.
The New York state indictments are more interesting, really. Cyrus Vance Jr. needs to shift attention away from the Harvey Weinstein investigation, and he’d love to be the next Mayor or State AG, and of course Schneiderman would love to be the next Mayor or Governor. Neither has a uniparty / DC swamp reputation to consider. I think the odds of a “kill shot” indictment against Trump, Pence or one or more of Trump’s kids is higher from New York than elsewhere. Trump and Pence can probably get the trials held off until they are out of office, but the Trump kids would be going to trial middle of next year just as the midterm elections are heating up. Pretty nasty stuff.
They’re getting revenge for Hillary being investigated. Oh wait, that never happened.
Gergen has a hate on for Trump, I figure it’s because Trump is the first president since Taft not to employ Gergen in some important role.
I predict Mueller will indict...Gergen!!!
It is unfortunately what passes for English, in today’s world. It’s geek speak. D’s used in place of T’s and vice versa among other thangs.
It may get a pass in certain circles for being “geek speak” but they’re not doing it because they think it’s cool, they’re doing it because they’re only semi-literate and can’t spell their way out of a paper bag, presumed intelligence in other areas of endeavor notwithstanding.
