S.E. Cupp Says She Was Sexually Intimidated by Coworkers... and a SENATOR
PJ Media ^ | 10-26-2017 | Michael van der Galien

Posted on 10/26/2017 11:06:42 PM PDT by Michael van der Galien

On Thursday night, conservative commentator S.E. Cupp devoted her entire one-hour "Unfiltered" program on HLN to talk about sexual harassment. She recalled three experiences of her own that make clear that the #MeToo movement certainly is of value.

Although she said she could've gone on for hours and hours with dozens of examples, Cupp decided to keep it short by giving "just" three. "One," she said, "an anchor grabbed my ass." Some men may think that doing so is "funny," but if these stories make one thing clear, it's that to women, it is anything but. It frightens them and truly makes them feel violated -- which, of course, they actually are.

In another story, and this is one that I'd like to know more about, she says that she was on set with a senator who literally grabbed her thigh under the table while on camera. When something like that happens, most women are truly in shock, which is why it takes many of them such a long time to speak out about it. It would've been best if she had responded instantly -- on camera, with everybody watching -- but that's simply too difficult for most people in such an unexpected and humiliating situation (being sexually harassed makes one feel less of oneself!).

Still, though, now that time has passed, I'd like to know who this senator is. The #MeToo campaign is incredibly important, but only if it's accompanied by actually naming and shaming men who sexually harass women. Just saying "I have been sexually abused or intimidated" isn't sufficient. We need to know who displayed such unacceptable behavior so they can be chased out of the Senate -- and the media.

S.E. Cupp is a very sexy lady. She has beautiful skin, clear features and always looks lively. That said, there is no excuse for grabbing somebody’s thighs while on the air.
I can imagine that would be a shock for most women who don’t intend to send any ‘come hither’ message.
In the old Fox News days when Ailes was King, I was waiting for her to get a regular spot on one of their shows.
Red Eye, the talk show doesn’t really count.

Even with “conservative” women, assume nothing. Expect that any joke, touch, or look can be construed as harassment, and act accordingly. These are the new rules, men, and they’re more for your protection than hers.

Did this happen before or after she started wearing her “look I’m smart” glasses?

I used to be a fan, but I don’t think the Glasses helped.

This is going to turn into an avalanche which will eventually prove the widely held suspicion that most men in positions of power are sexually libertine. The reasons are probably so obvious and mundane that I would be thought to be an idiot to enumerate them, but in case you’ve lived in a cave or just arrived here on earth, consider these factors:

a. men in positions of power and authority have a sexual charisma that most other men do not have, partly from that position and partly as a precursor of attaining the position. There are exceptions, of course, but not very many.

b. men who seek out these positions are dominant and likely to be narcissistic, one has to think highly of oneself to imagine a career in politics, higher echelons of business or religion, or academia. So these are men “on the make” in general with a sense of entitlement.

c. all of the above leads to positive reinforcement. For every woman who objects or later speaks out, there are other women (the ratio can be guessed from the Bill Clinton saga) who are willing participants, in some cases even eager to “enrich the gene pool” or whatever formula works in their minds.

So none of these “revelations” surprises me, and I would imagine the same is true for most of you. If you have lived a more normal life, you don’t get into this territory and you keep your hands to yourself until well into a relationship.

Nor is this a one-way street. There are women who use their sexual attractiveness in positions of either authority (your boss perhaps) or access (a bar server for example) to flirt, or sexually abuse at some level (usually nowhere near the male standards but we’ve all been there, right?).

The most flagrant example I’ve witnessed was a rather unhinged female boss who played out all sorts of odd sexual games with male subordinates, making for a toxic workplace that any sane man would quickly want to vacate.

So getting back to this news story, we’re going to be buried under an avalanche of these stories and eventually it will seem that the non-harassing male is the exception to the rule (among the powerful and wealthy at least).

And this will reach a sort of point of no return because, inevitably, it will lap up on the shores of Clinton Island where all normal standards cannot apply, and the liberal media will close the discussion and move on. Probably in this case, many will be thankful, since at some level this is how we got the human race we have today, and I find it ironic that those squawking the loudest would be the first to affirm that Darwin’s theories of evolution were the main foundation of human behaviour, and not any moral code.

So at some point the discussion becomes pointless, except that it attempts to lead us towards matriarchy and away from patriarchy. I somehow think we are not going very far down that road, not when our main rivals in the world have chosen decisively and our survival probably depends on our choice.

Wink, nudge nudge. The crazy ones are best in the sack. Just make sure they don’t know your real name or where you live. Their place only. Bonus if their dad is a preacher. ;-)

That has been my policy certainly since Anita Hill, possibly before.
Surprises me that any man would fall into this trap in the current environment. Obviously, the most innocent-seeming interaction can affect your future. I'm not MGTOW by any stretch but every woman must be regarded as a potential threat. This should exclude, of course, a woman you're currently married to.

Yeah, you'd think that.

If the man is not suffering dementia, cause Mana was a nurse, you embarrass them. you say out loud in a firm grownup voice I can’t believe you are so rude as to grab my ( fill in body part) like that. Didn’t your mother teach you better?

Do it right then. It will never happen again

A CNN flack and *NeverTrumper, Cupp is no conservative, in the mold of Amanda Carpenter, defending RINO business as usual long before uttering ever a decent word for Trump.

Impossible to admire “Initials” Cupp.

S.E. Cupp is totally hot. She is smart and sassy, quick witted and expressive. She is married and she and her husband have a child. So, she is hands off. It’s actually relaxing. I feel free to enjoy her charms. I wish her every success and I certainly hope the networks don’t do to her what they did to Megyn Kelly (or, what Megyn Kelly allowed them to do to her).
