Thx.

Used to hate road trips, cuz my dad controlled the radio. Now — I hear this song and think.... Gee, dad sorta had good taste. LOL

“one is:
time in a bottle - jim croce”

Just heard it sung by his son A.J. Croce last Saturday night. He did some great tributes to his father and is a very talented writer/performer himself. He was signing CDs after the concert and as he was signing mine I pointed to the rose tattoo likes Jim’s that I got a couple of years after He died and said “I was a big fan”. He broke out in a smile and shook my hand.

Darn near all of my favorite 10,000 songs are by artists who have passed, an unfortunate commentary on the current situation.

Patsy Cline and Jim Reeves TWO legends at the top of their game. This song fit my life several times, I just love it.

George Jones, All time top 5 in any genre.
