Will justice be done? My vote says NO. They are all Democrats (Marxists, really) and the power elite makes them untouchable. We, the great unwashed, can eat cake! Pretty sad.

Soz.... What are some of the nicer non-extradition nations for U.S. political refugees?

Inquiring minds probably already know

The RATS will walk off. No indictments, no conviction, no jail time.

No. According to Democrats, any “investigating” into a “scandal” involving their party is only a distraction from trying to uncover Trump’s collusion with Russia. Democrats get off scot-free and Republicans are gutless in pursuing anything. Democrats are always in the driver’s seat while Republicans are their gas station attendant.

We need a special prosecutor. What will Sessions do? I predict he will appoint one.

"Uranium One: Will Justice be Done?"

If it is done, justice will require, following trials and convictions, the use of the gallows.

No. The Swamp will protect its own. And we’ll pretend only one side is the problem, whcih is why this stuff will keep happening.

Outstanding article.

Let’s underscore that the Uranium One scandal is a greatly disturbing -- and actually frightening -- affair. It sets a dangerous precedent – if real justice isn’t sought and rendered. High officials -- elected and appointed, existing and former -- willingly compromising national security for bribes, and then covering up the affair. Getting away with it could only embolden unscrupulous characters to dare similar crimes in the future. Not just the welfare but the lives of Americans could be endangered.

I want to be hopeful, but I'm not.

The collusion nonsense was an attempt to frame an innocent man, Donald Trump.

Clintons great at that

This story has almost all the left wing bogeymen neatly packaged performing a hideous crime.

Sounds too good to be true. Lucy and the football comes to mind

If “justice” equates to Hillary or some other high-level dem finally getting a long-deserved prison term, the answer is no. The best that will occur is a low-level lackey of the Clintons who will — just like the others — be willing to take the fall for them.

This is the new Benghazi, an “emotional wedge issue” as Karl Rove would say.

Its to sucker all of us into voting for incumbent Republican politicians in the 2018 election cycle.

“Uranium One” is really “Uranus One” for those who take it seriously and believe it will lead to anything serious like orange jumpsuits for Hillary or Barry.

Its a sucker issue to sucker you into liking Republicans who didn’t support Trump at the voting booth.

They need to be primaried out.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Seb Gorka "went there" last night and used the word 'treason' and that is what this is. The author also uses a 't' word that applies: "But their bad deeds must be punished -- doubly so for acts of treachery… treachery by the very men and women sworn to uphold the law and protect the nation."

Now there is context for Hilly's comment that if Trump is elected "we'll all hang by nooses".

Not to ANY of those people, not on this earth, not in this lifetime. <sigh>

Tuesday evening, Newt Gingrich declared to Sean Hannity that Uranium One will be the biggest political scandal in U.S. history. That’s not hyperbole. Watergate pales by comparison.

I am not so sure. Watergate was a big deal because the news media wanted it to be a big deal. The same news media does not want Uranium One to be a big deal, so it will not be. It is not about what is more important or scandalous, it is about the news media setting the topics of what news is.

If the justice department can’t or won’t enforce laws regarding uranium, treason, and the national security and safety of every American, then there is no law they can enforce.

Tyranny. If you are connected and powerful you can reap billions and do what you want. If you are an average person a taxpayer, you are screwed and have nothing to say about it.

If Clinton and others don’t go down over this, we live in a lawless society.

I'm beginning to think the only way to right this mess is to have private groups similar to Simon Wiesenthal and company begin to make examples out of the most egregious offenders.

How about investigating Bill’s transfer of our defense tech to China during his term? I’d be surprised if some money didn’t change hands then, too.

If the Uranium One rogues’ gallery are guilty but skate, it will rupture whatever faith is left in the U.S. justice system. It will hang a cloud over federal law enforcement; chiefly, the FBI. Everyday Americans’ belief will be validated: justice is for them, not for the rich, powerful, and connected. So great a rupture will be hard to fix.

Truer words were never written. There's a lot on the line here. What happens next in this saga is going to have profound implications about what kind of country we will be. If this is swept under a rug we become a failed state in IMHO.

Americans have already lost faith in our government, a coverup here will make that loss of faith permanent but a competent and fair investigation with real consequences can go a long way in reversing that cynicism.
