You said it perfectly. This is absolutely why a UMC that predates the War Between the States has shrunk and the good, solid, Bible believing members are turning away.

we all cling to our religions....we Catholics have our burden in our leadership and I think other religions have their own burden...
I hope most of us can maintain our sanity and our sanctity thru these times...

The lay leaders have had to tell District several times to butt out or face schism, though.
