Fake news media cares about a war it was opposed to.

GW Bush and Bill Clinton did’nt serve in Vietnam. Old news.

I am very sorry he has cancer, and I hope the treatments buy him significantly more time. That said, I’ve always thought that he put his public persona and his ego before what was best for the country and the party.

Cannot speak to the bone spur issue, though I had one once and two shots of cortisone took care of it. But I want to speak to the student deferment thing. You did not have to be rich. Every male in college who was in good standing was granted a deferment. That meant at Fordham and Penn like the POTUS or tuition free CCNY. And I am tired of seeing someone got four deferments. The deferment had to be reissued each year, so anyone who graduated college received four deferments. And the day I graduated my 1a classification was waiting for me in the mail when I got home. Six weeks later I had a pre induct physical at Fort Hamilton. Diagnosed with high blood pressure , I had to have my doctor track my BP twice a day for three consecutive days and though the numbers were high I was still called back twice to be retested. There were no easy medical deferments for the rich. If desired I am sure Fred Trump could have gotten his son into a Reserve or Guard unit with little difficulty. That the rich could do.

Ask Bill Walton about the pain of bone spurs, McVain.

You don’t seem to be able to uphold ANY military dignity, John. Just go away.

I wonder if we can hire the Westboro kooks to ruin his funeral?

“Bone spurs are very painful.”

They can be. I have a friend who had to retire early from our police force due to bone spurs in his heels. Two painful operations later, and he still doesn’t walk right. much less run at all.

For any male in the late 60’s till the end of the war, it was an active endeavor to not be sent to ‘nam. Right or wrong... that was the reality

Well, going to Vietnam didn’t do McInsane any favors. He’s been an anti-America asshole ever since he got back.

He’s lucky he did go to jail for his corruption role in the Keating affair. He was one of the Keating Five.

The Navy would have been much, much better off had McCain not joined. One word: Forrestal.

the man who hot toggled a errant shipboard missile launch which killed how many people and almost sunk an aircraft carrier ? It’s goo to be the admiral’s son....

I despise McCain as much as the next guy, but he was not responsible for that errant missile fire. It came from a plane on the other side of the ship and resulted from a stray electrical charge. Video here.

“it’s a legitimate point for McCain...trump dodged the draft”

No, he didn’t. That’s just more BS from the left, including you.

Then again, what would we expect from an idiot that is either too lazy, too stupid, or just doesn’t respect himself or his readers to use a caps key??

If I lost to the junior senator from Illinois I think I’d keep my mouth shut.

When I was in college my boyfriend could not even get in ROTC because of flat feet. No one with feet problems needs to be anywhere near a military uniform. My daughter was on maneuvers, stepped in a hole and damaged her knee. She had to get a medical discharge because she injured it so severely. It happens.

I cannot wait for this ass to get planted. He skated past an indictment over some s and l. I voted for him in 08 because I knew he was a tad better than ohola and we would get Sarah. Instead we got a candidate who was a non push over. Last we heard of the jerk till trump came along. John just go away please.
