It’s more like reported as such...

Un-freaking-believable. Yahoo news is one of the worst. I absolutely love to scan their site to compare the stories to other news sites.
They change stories just slightly in an attempt to give a negative connotation. They alter photos to make folks look pitiful/angry/evil. Adjusting contrast, brightness, color.
Despicable stuff.
Hate must be kept alive as a motivator. Hate helps the ratings. The media deliberately works to make people angry.
Hate helps people unite with friends who flock together.
Hate bonds the ties of division. Us against them our enemy, motivates people to watch the political sport. Peace, harmony and cooperation does not work as well as promoting unrest and hatred. It is not right to utilize hatred and conflict, but it must be profitable.
