I just don’t get it. 73 years old. Shouldn’t he and 25 Senators be enjoying life? Now he gets to face a good portion of his remaining life being some black man’s bi—h.

I retired at 58. Still loving every minute of it. Sitting on our boat right now enjoying a beautiful day. Like you, I just don’t understand why these people can’t leave us alone and enjoy what’s left of their life.

Hubris, and being the power behind the throne can be addicting.
Imagine going from being the kingmaker to being the old fart sitting on the porch. You know, the guy who USED to be somebody.

Same reason The Man Who Would Be King (FDR) was reelected three times.

Praise the Lord that congress codified George Washington’s two term ideal into law after FDR took his dirt nap.
If they hadn’t we might be stuck with Obie from Nairobi for another 30 years. :-(

Or BJC and his hellhound “wife” for an extra eight years.
