I have mixed feelings because I’ve seen and heard many bad renditions of the anthem before baseball games. I’d rather not hear it than to hear someone screw it up.

That is the truth.

The sad part is, our beautiful patriotic national songs and words are increasingly unknown to generations of children who were never exposed to them.

Many years ago, an older second grade teacher became aware of this, and tried her best to teach her own students many patriotic songs. But that was just her class and many years ago.

Now even more young Americans may never hear the national anthem. One more chunk of American culture hacked away.

A bad version of the National Anthem is better than having the left successfully denormalize the singing and playing of it.
