Reince Priebus did an excellent job turning the RNC around after Michael Steele left it in shambles, and turned it into a powerhouse, and under his leadership it fully backed Trump and GOTV efforts and they were second to none - the main reason Trump appointed him to be Chief of Staff (which he ultimately proved to be very ill suited for). And McDaniel was picked by Trump to lead the RNC.
