They are self deluded, they are not actually sick.
I used to have a neighbor who kept a record of all them service men/women who died in wars during Bush2 years, as deaths continued in those wars under obama I asked him about some who died, he said he wasn’t keeping track anymore life got busy, more important things to do. I took it as keeping track only served to keep his hate for political folks he didn’t like. LOL
